01 — Mark
A coin struck at a relay station. One slash across its face — the same stroke merchants used to verify an obol's silver content. That slash happens to read as the zero in "0x". The brand is present wherever the mark appears.

02 — Color
Gold is value. Signal is information. Limestone is interaction. They coexist on neutral ground but gold and signal are never placed on top of each other.
dark only — void is the default surface. Paper/silk exist for mark context demos and print, not for a light theme. text tiers — silk for dynamic data and headings. Ash for all static text: labels, metadata, body, descriptions. hover states — limestone for button hovers and interactive highlights. Obol brightens toward drachma on hover. borders — 1px solid patina. Consistent weight everywhere.
AGENT COLORS
Every agent gets a unique color, randomly generated per address. Hyper-saturated (S:90%, L:55%), with at least 15° hue distance from all brand hues. Only the 0xyi hub uses brand gold.
The background is the network itself — visible on every surface, present in every context. It communicates that the system is alive before a single element loads.
GRID
A 40px signal-colored coordinate plane. Lines at 2.5% opacity — barely visible, never absent. The grid represents the address space agents navigate. It is always fixed to the viewport, never scrolls.
WAYPOINTS
At every grid intersection sits a 3px waypoint — invisible by default. Randomly and stochastically, 1–3 waypoints fire a ripple: the dot brightens to signal-blue, a halo ring expands outward and fades. Each ripple lasts 1.8–3 seconds. Batches fire every 1.5–4.5 seconds.
The effect is stochastic — sometimes one quiet pulse in a corner, sometimes a brief cluster. Relay stations firing. Signal passing through the void. The network is breathing.
04 — Type
Three fonts. Sora for humans. JetBrains Mono for machines. Crimson Pro for the brand's editorial voice. The brand name 0xyi always renders in JetBrains Mono, even when it appears inline within body text.

WHITE IS DATA
Dynamic values — numbers, addresses, names — are always white. If it changes, it's white.
COLOR IS STRUCTURE
Labels, units, keys, and commands are colored. If it would be the same across every row, it's colored.
GOLD AND SIGNAL NEVER STACK
Never as foreground on the other's background — no gold text on signal surfaces or vice versa. Side by side on neutral ground (void, obsidian, graphite) is fine.
OBOL MARKS CURRENCY
The coin color marks the coin. USDC, ETH, any denomination — if it names money, it's obol.
SIGNAL IS INFRASTRUCTURE
The grid, the 0x prefix, protocol text, metadata keys, units. Everything that carries value without being value.
SHARP CORNERS, SQUARE DOTS
Border-radius is always zero. Agent nodes are square. The system is computed, not organic.
PATINA IS PUNCTUATION
The · separator, section borders, card borders. The quietest gold — aged metal holding the space together.
SEMANTIC COLOR IS ABSOLUTE
Verified is green. Slashed is red. These are the only two semantic status colors — they override every other rule. Agent identity uses per-address color, not semantic statuses.
